What is FASTMATCH™?
FASTMATCH™ is an electronic, Web-based appointment system for use by all Product Show registrants to help plan and arrange their meetings with channel partners at the 2013 ISA Product Show & Conference.
The system allows any Product Show & Conference registrant to log on and view available appointment times with any other registered attendee or exhibitor.
FASTMATCH™ appointments are needed for one-on-one personal meetings during scheduled FASTMATCH™ times, however, FASTMATCH™ appointments are not needed to visit booths and to look at products.
How do I begin to use FASTMATCH™?
After you register for the ISA Product Show & Conference, you will receive a Registration ID via e-mail. Click on the live link within the e-mail, or copy and paste the link into your browser window to be taken directly to the sign-in screen. Enter the Registration ID sent to you via e-mail, and you are logged into the system!
Once on the FASTMATCH™ home screen, click on the menu "Attendee" to begin searching for an attendee.
What is a FASTMATCH™ Coordinator?
Exhibiting companies at the 2013 Product Show will appoint a FASTMATCH™ "coordinator" to manage appointments for all Product Show attendees from that company. This individual is asked to use the company's password to manage appointments. If the person who purchased the booth isn't the FASTMATCH™ coordinator, it is the responsibility of the FASTMATCH™ coordinator to secure the password from their colleague or to contact ISA to get this information. The FASTMATCH™ coordinator can help speed the meeting process; ensuring companies meet all their appointments.
Why should I use FASTMATCH™ to schedule my Product Show activity?
It is the most efficient way to schedule your time at the Product Show. You can invite trading partners or potential trading partners to meet with you in your booth; ask to meet in their booth; or agree to meet in another convenient location.
Have you ever circled a manufacturer's booth waiting for an available representative? Avoid the wait -- make a FASTMATCHTM appointment!
You can ask to make appointments with any Product Show & Conference registrant. Have your entire two-day Product Show schedule organized before you leave your office.
How do I select exhibitors I want to meet at the Product Show?
Once you log into the system, you can search for exhibitors to meet based upon company location, company name, product type and business type. Save the companies you want to meet to your favorites list, and then you can use the tools to plan your visits based on their location in the hall, your priorities or other criteria you determine, and then you can begin requesting appointments.
How do I know the attendee/exhibitor I want to schedule a meeting with has that time slot available?
When you click on the name of the person you want to meet, a calendar will appear showing all the times available. You can then request any of the available times.
What time slots are available using FASTMATCH™?
FASTMATCH™ is available for both days of the Product Show. On Sunday, June 2, FASTMATCH™ appointments will run from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and again from 1:15 p.m. to 4:35 p.m. The hours between 10:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. will be Open Time and FASTMATCH™ appointments cannot be made during this time.
On Monday, June 3, FASTMATCH™ appointments will run from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and from 1:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Open Time is scheduled between 10:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Appointments are 15 minutes each, with a 5-minute transition time between meetings. Need more time? You can make a double appointment by sending a message requesting the time you need and the FASTMATCHTM Coordinator for that exhibitor can make those arrangements.
FASTMATCH™ Coordinator Instructions: You can extend individual meetings beyond 15 minutes by scheduling a second 15-minute appointment.
I have more than one person staffing my booth. Can FASTMATCH™ make more than one appointment for the same time slot?
Yes. Companies with more than one person in a booth can make/accept multiple appointments during the same time slot, one for each different representative. Once you have accepted your maximum number of appointments for a particular time slot, please make sure to decline any further requests.
Am I required to have appointments with everyone who uses FASTMATCH™?
Accepting a meeting is your decision. The system allows for meetings to be declined or moved to another time. You need to ACCEPT and ACKNOWLEDGE ALL MEETINGS you wish to have, or DECLINE those you do not wish to, or are unable, to have. The system's unique Notes feature allows you to respond personally to all requests. Important - If you simply can't make the time work, please use MODIFY and not DECLINE. DECLINE means no meeting. MODIFY means meet at a different time.
How will I know when an appointment I requested is officially accepted and will occur?
All FASTMATCH™ appointments are subject to confirmation. Those scheduling FASTMATCH™ appointments will receive confirmation via e-mail. All appointments should be considered pending until appointment makers receive acceptances from the requested company or organization.
It is important to acknowledge all requests received regardless of whether they are accepted or declined, as the requested time slot will remain open.
Remember, you can always check your appointment schedule online.
Can I cancel meetings I have set up with FASTMATCH™?
The system allows you to cancel meetings. Its Notes Section also allows users to offer reasons for cancellation. Important: If you simply can't make the time work, please use MODIFY and not DECLINE. DECLINE means no meeting. MODIFY means meet at a different time.
Can I have meetings with trading partners who have not used FASTMATCH™?
Yes. Companies can set up booths or organize their personnel to handle FASTMATCH™ appointments and walk-ins with no appointment.
Please Note: You must take action on all requests. Once the number of meetings you can take for any time slot have been filled (e.g. three booth personnel equals three meetings) then those requesting a meeting for that time slot must be Modified to request a different meeting time, or declined. The slot will still appear as available on your schedule. There is no way to limit the number of requests you will get for any given time slot.
Can exhibitors request appointments with other exhibitors?
No. However, there are “non-FASTMATCH™ open times in the schedule where anyone can visit with anyone at the show. Exhibitors can also put contact information in their profile to facilitate anyone at the show contacting them (e.g. a booth phone number).
How do you know who the FASTMATCH™ coordinator is for a company with multiple attendees listed?
An exhibiting company can identify their FASTMATCH™ Coordinator as part of their profile. If an attending company asks one attendee to manage appointments for the company, they can likewise add that information to the biography of each individual attendee’s profile and check the option to publish this information.
Can you schedule two time slots for the same company?
Yes. The system is set to accept up to a 15-minute meeting for available time slots. If you need additional time, request a second time slot. There is a five-minute interval between time slots to accommodate travel to the next appointment, so by selecting back-to-back slots, you would have up to 35 minutes for a meeting. Please make sure to Modify the request to meet at a different time, or Decline any further requests from companies you elect not to meet during the show.
Is the attendee list segregated in any way (i.e. channel type, etc.)?
There is a search feature built in to filter the results for exhibiting companies to find targeted prospects by product lines, geography or by specific company.
Do we get the company password once we've registered and chosen our booth?
Yes. A confirmation e-mail with your company password is sent to the individual who purchased the booth when your company registered. This password can be used to update the exhibitor profile and to schedule appointments. If the person who purchased the booth isn't the FASTMATCH™ coordinator, it is the responsibility of the FASTMATCH™ coordinator to secure the password from their colleague or to contact ISA to get this information
Where do you upload a brochure?
Exhibiting companies can provide detailed information on their products, including photos, press releases and more in their profile, including links to information, such as brochures, that they’ve posted on their Web sites.
I am having a problem with the system logging me out before I enter all my information. What is the time limit?
Once logged in, you’ll have 60 minutes to complete your profile. It is best to have your information in a document you can use to cut and paste into the profile forms to do so efficiently.
If you have four booths reserved can you schedule four appointments at the same time?
Yes. Each booth can schedule as many appointments as you have staff to meet during FASTMATCH™ time slots.
Can you tell who the coordinator is by viewing attendees listed?
No. However, an exhibiting company can identify their FASTMATCH™ Coordinator as part of their profile. If an attending company asks one attendee to manage appointments for the company, they can likewise add that information to the biography of each individual attendee’s profile and check the option to publish this information.
