What's New for the 2012 ISA Product Show & Conference?
Plenty! The third edition of ISA's revised format will bring several exciting changes as a result of the post-meeting survey from the 2011 meetings and strategies outlined in ISA's strategic plan. Here's a brief summary of some of the changes you can expect in San Antonio:
An Upgraded Conference Program: ISA's educational promises are the backbone of this year's conference, with education tracks focused on sales management, channel management and leadership. This year's conference program will be sponsored by the ISA Education Foundation.
Onsite Communications: A new mobile application will allow all participants of the show to connect using their smart phones and enable users to access the FASTMATCH™ system from anywhere. Exhibiting companies can publish cell phone numbers to accept calls at their booths during the Product Show; Attendees can likewise connect via cell phone with the help of the ISA Service Desk.
New Ways for Exhibitors to Showcase Electronically! It's like two shows for the price of one. New technology allows ISA to create an electronic fair for six months after you leave Texas. Be certain to add all the information you can to your electronic floor plan. Customers and potential customers who missed you in Texas, those who couldn't make the event and anyone around the globe surfing the Internet are all possible users and beneficiaries of the new technology.
New Product Emphasis. The 2012 ISA Product Show & Conference will offer more opportunities than ever before for suppliers to showcase their products. We're placing a special emphasis on products in the Safety, Jan/San and Welding categories.
Two Bashes are Better Than One! Sponsored by the Independent Manufacturers' Representative Committee, the FastBash receptions will now be held on both days of the Product Show.
ISA Booth Bonanza Cash Giveaway: To make things simple, this years' cash giveaway takes place at the end of each day of the Product Show. Ten $500 prizes will be awarded each day to individual distributors.
Benefit Habitat for Humanity and save on shipping! Exhibitors will now be able to make a tax deductible contribution to Habitat for Humanity of any material in their booths they do not wish to ship back to their offices.
5K Run/Walk Event Benefiting Wounded Warrior Project: Some 100-200 participants are expected for a new 5K event, providing some competitive fun and fundraising for a wonderful cause. The event will be Sunday April 22, at 7 a.m. All 2012 Product Show & Conference sponsors will enjoy the additional benefits of a 5K Run/Walk sponsorship.
